The ONLY fishing retreat in Panama that offers a mothership stay as an accommodation option, Panama Sport Fishing Lodge, has one of two options when it comes to choosing the mothership package: the 110' Broward or the 78' Devocean. A mothership stay kranks up the experience level to AWESOME because you'll be anchored in paradise, off the coast of Isla Coiba (Galapagos of Central America) which is known for some of the most vibrant and diverse aquatic life as well as fuana. One of the reasons anglers flock here year after year is that coiba is the second largest coral reef in the eastern Pacific making it home to hundreds of marine species. You'll receive the all inclusive treatment as you would at the lodge, but you'll also get that much more fishing time since you'll be literally minutes away from some of the world's greatest fishing hotspots. With two mothership options you can either charter the entire vessel privately for your group or during March - May we offer boat pooling so you can just book a cabin, but still have a private fishing boat for your personal group.

SAMPLE ITINERARY
Day 1 – Arrival
We can arrange a private charter flight from Panama City to fly into Coiba Island where our staff will be awaiting your arrival to transport you to the mothership. Alternatively, you can fly into the International Airport of David, there our staff will take you to the marina (1-hour drive), where your boat, captain and crew will be waiting transport you to the mothership.
Days 2-4
6am: breakfast
6:30 am: cast off
FISH one of the hotspots (La Drones, Hannibal Banks, or Isla Montuosa)
4pm: Lines out
5:30pm: Horderves & tropical drinks served upon arrival from fishing
6:30pm: 3-course gourmet dinners and drinks included
Day 5 – Departure

With the volatility of fuel costs lately we have to make our customers aware of our variable fuel surcharge policy. We base our fuel costs in our packages at max of $ 4.00/gal.
As of recently, fuel costs have more than doubled and we aim to keep our package prices as low as possible, but final fuel surcharge will be informed to guests at max, one week prior to arrival.
